Diagnostics and training at OrthoTrain:
At the beginning of treatment, precise diagnosics are performed with computer-aided equipment in order to identify limitations in terms of function and weight-bearing capacity. On the basis of the results, a medical training program is drawn up that is tailored to the needs of the patient.
The medical diagnostics and training center
OrthoTrain is a medical treatment center at which orthopedic patients are treated according to the principles of Medical Training Therapy. It uses state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapy equipment in a targeted manner to eliminate weight-bearing problems and neuromuscular deficits after injuries and operations.
OrthoTrain is a treatment module of the practice for holistic orthopedics and trauma surgery (Docortho MVZ GmbH) of the medical treatment center in Berlin-Mitte. As part of a holistic care chain, OrthoTrain contributes significantly to treatment success by providing medical training in the right dosages.
Treatment at OrthoTrain is provided on a prescription-only basis and is subject to the medical supervision of W. Weihe, MD; A. Heinzinger, MD; and O. Miltner, MD and associate professor. All exercises are administered by specially trained and certified physical therapists and physical-education instructors and performed under medical supervision.
